Backup guard turns hero in wild comeback
The Maine Celtics rallied from 23 down to beat the Delaware Blue Coats 129–119, moving to 4–3 after an 0–3 start. Ron Harper led with 26, but Kameron Warrens stole the show, scoring a career-high 22 points with five threes—proof that being a ‘backup’ only applies to parking your car.
Kendall Brown added 18 points and 9 assists, Aaron Scott had 16, and Max Shulga chipped in 17 as Maine set a franchise mark with 43 assists. The team remains perfect at the Portland Expo and faces the Westchester Knicks next Friday.
