Celtics Squeak by Nets in a Knuckle-Biter!…
Hold onto your jerseys, folks! Kristaps Porziņģis and his long legs finally returned to the court as the Boston Celtics tangoed with the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center. After missing eight games, Porziņģis popped back on the scene, leading the Celtics to a photo-finish 115-113 victory that had fans clutching popcorn bags a little tighter than usual.
The game started with Porziņģis doing his thing as the Celtics’ lone skyscraper, and Jayson Tatum slamming in some sweet mid-range shots. Even Sam Hauser stepped out like he was auditioning for the lead in a basketball musical, swishing corner triples like they were going out of style. But don’t nap, the hustle-hungry Nets were right on Boston’s tail with Maxwell Lewis and Jalen Wilson playing bunny rabbit, hopping in those threes!
As the game heated up, it was Jrue Holiday’s alley-oop magic and Pritchard’s record-breaking three-pointers that kept the Celtics afloat – and let’s not forget Porziņģis’s dazzling dunk show over Nets’ Day’Ron Sharpe. Final whistle and high-fives all round as the Celtics whisked away with a sweet road trip win. The Nets must be seeing green as the follow-up showdown hits Boston next Tuesday. Refill those popcorns, it’s gonna be another nail-biter!
