Boston ends Detroit’s run with grit and a grin
The Boston Celtics edged the East-leading Detroit Pistons 117–114 on Nov. 26, ending Detroit’s 13-game winning streak. Jaylen Brown led with 33 points while Derrick White fired up in the second half.
Coach Joe Mazzulla praised their grit—and fans joked the Pistons finally ran out of gas at TD Garden.
