Houston hands Boston a humbling 128–101 loss
Kevin Durant dropped 26 points and led the Houston Rockets to a 128–101 blowout win at TD Garden, ending the Celtics’ three-game streak. Joe Mazzulla’s squad looked gassed after the run — like their defense missed the flight and showed up three quarters late.
Despite the loss, Durant praised Jayson Tatum’s Achilles recovery, while Baylor Scheierman impressed in extended minutes. The Celtics now aim to regroup before facing Philadelphia on November 11 in those much-talked-about alternate uniforms.
