Mazzulla’s Fiery Text Shoots Walsh Sky-High…

In a whiz-bang turn of events straight out of a sports comedy, 21-year-old Jordan Walsh found himself tossed from a Las Vegas Summer League showdown against the Miami Heat quicker than you can say “slam dunk!” Our hero Walsh, after committing two technical fouls faster than a LeBron lightning-speed fast break, was catapulted to the locker room. But did that stop Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla from being his biggest fan? Nope! In a move worthy of a basketball bard, Mazzulla shot a text at light-speed saying, “I loved this out of you!” turning Walsh’s frown into a slammin’ smile.

While Mazzulla merrily vibed in the bleachers, Walsh was backtracking with an apology dance for Celtics GM Brad Stevens. Sitting courtside with his crew, Stevens was in for the front-row drama. Walsh insisted, “I’m more of a top-shelf pro than a court clown,” assuring the boss-man this hiccup was an exception, not the norm. Meanwhile, new owner Bill Chisholm and gang enjoyed their popcorn during the free show. Who needs NBA drama when the Summer League brings soap-opera action?

The fiery debacle began with an ol’ school push and another sneaky shove at players after nail-biting plays. Walsh, in his quest for on-court domination, forgot the technicals stacked faster than a pile of sneakers in the locker room! While trying to make opponents as jittery as a squirrel on espresso, Walsh wished to turn their rhythms upside down and freeze their plays cold. Alas, amidst his strategic mayhem, it was he who wound up in the whirlwind. Reflecting on his fiery outburst, Walsh confessed, “Getting tossed around like pizza dough ain’t my game plan,” showing a slice of remorse for his pizza-box-sized energy session.
