Get Ready for the Celtics’ New Season…

The 2025-26 Celtics are gearing up for a season that promises more excitement than a squirrel in a peanut factory! The Celtics kick off at home against the Philadelphia 76ers on October 22nd—an exact year after they raised Banner 18. Philadelphia, recovering from a season as disappointing as a soggy pizza, should bring their A-game. With 25 national TV games on deck, the Celtics’ first appearance will be on Prime Video against the Knicks on October 24th. The NBA’s new television contracts have kicked TNT to the curb, swapping them out for Amazon Prime, NBC, and Peacock.

This season, the Celtics are off to the West Coast twice, racking up more miles than a jet-setting seagull. Their first trip from December 26th to January 3rd features matchups against teams like Portland and Los Angeles (Clippers). They’ll head west again from February 19th to 26th, battling the likes of Golden State and Denver. The Celtics’ line-up of clashes against arch-rivals includes multiple showdowns with the 76ers, Knicks, Heat, and Lakers. Former players visiting Boston include Jrue Holiday with the Trail Blazers on January 26th, a reunion sure to have everyone weeping like onions in a blender!
