From Cornflakes to TD Garden Heroics…
Once upon a time in the tiny metropolis of Aurora, Nebraska, a gang of morning marauders known as ‘The Morning Hawks’ flapped their wings. Leading the charge was none other than pint-sized power dynamo, Baylor Scheierman, waking before the rooster even thought about crowing. The lad was dribbling hoops while others were drooling on pillows, all thanks to Mama Scheierman, the spin class queen, rocking the early risers club! Family full of athletes, sure, but kid Baylor was already readying himself for cosmic court battles, setting sights on the one-worded dream: NBA!
As the earth spun on its axis, Scheierman, a/k/a the Nebraskan Nut Job, juggled javelins and slapped slams across high school arenas, all while the cosmos conspired to lock him indoors thanks to the Big C—COVID! Bereft of gyms, the earth became Scheierman’s playground. He conjured Pistol Pete’s ghost and whirled around, dribbling on a bike and dazzling the squirrels with his antics by an enchanted outdoor hoop! Returning stronger, his three-pointer became the stuff of legends, blasting records like a Rockstar smashing guitars!
Fast forward to Boston’s hallowed TD Garden and the cartoon did not disappoint! Baylor, channeling his inner showman, unleashed a spectacular slamfest, delighting fans and foes alike and igniting momma’s tearducts. Even his former nemesis, Mr. No Name from Aurora, would cheer him now! Baylor’s dreams were framed in fluorescent lights, and even the ghosts of basketball past were front row spectators. It’s been a wild ride for the boy wonder, but the show has only begun. And trust him — it’s gonna be a slam-tastic journey in the epic saga of basketball comics!
